A split system needs to be sized to the room, not guessed from the unit price. Ozcon considers the room size, ceiling height, insulation, window exposure, sun load and how the space is used before recommending a suitable capacity.

The indoor unit needs clear airflow across the room, while the outdoor unit needs safe access, ventilation, drainage and noise-aware placement. Pipe runs and wall penetrations should be planned cleanly before work starts.
